Guh. It’s approaching 11pm. I need to meet my friends at 2am so we can go to our friend’s house to wait for the taxi which will take us to Heathrow. Been trying to sleep since 9 but can’t - looks like I may as well give up and just wait to sleep on the plane, haha.

BOO for sucky day but YAYYYY that you got to read ‘Salome’!
:D The language was so beautiful and haunting! Really quite different to Wilde’s other plays. I feel as if I need to spend some time digesting it as I don’t think I fully appreciated it just from one quick read. Also: on Friday night I...

Just spent a whole day without electricity or...

Also trying to decode the American scaling system which annoyingly uses inches and feet rather than the metric system British...

A Drinking Song
jeeprobado:
de W. B. Yeats
Wine comes in at the mouth And love comes in at the eye; That’s all we shall know for truth Before we grow old and die. I lift the glass to my mouth, I look at you, and I sigh.

One thing I love about weekends?
Finally being able to treat myself to a nice vegetarian cooked breakfast and a pot of loose-leaf tea. Mmmmm.
